Graduation

The past two weeks have flown by.
I’m so exhausted from all the goings-on, my body has literally crashed and given me a nice, sniffly cold.
Oh well, that forces me to have time to tell you all about my recent adventures.

Last week was filled with days of playing tour guide around London to family in town for my graduation. I always enjoy showing people around because I love imagining seeing London for the first time. Here are a few pictures from our days wandering the city.

If you have friends or family in town begging you for some Fish & Chips, go to Rock & Sole Plaice in Covent Garden. They serve good quality fish that tastes even better whilst sitting in the sun and people watching.

After a full day of sightseeing, I spied with my little eye my dream car parked up in Green Park: The Ferrari Enzo. I’ve been raised with a passion for fast cars and luxury vehicles and as a kid spent my 12 hour flights to London poring over Car magazines. The day this baby was released, it became my life-long goal/obsession to one day own one. Anytime I see one of the 399 made, my heart skips a beat, my stomach gets butterflies, and I stand staring at it lovingly until I’m pulled away.
One day Enzo, one day.

The Big Day:
Graduation from University.
After years of reading, writing, analysing, constructing, debating, and an unimaginable amount of late nights, we arrive here. On this day, we are rewarded not only for the graded results of our efforts, but for the transformation we have made through learning to open our minds to different ways of thinking and always questioning what we are told.

The ceremony itself was swelteringly hot and incredibly long. But the feeling afterwards, the buzz of students from 120 different nations, was inexplicably amazing. We celebrated with a massive pizza from Pizzeria on the Green, (the best pizza outside of Italy), then my partner in crime, Innas and I partied into the night with the rest of the happy graduates.
